Privacy Policy

At Queens Game Club, we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services.

Last updated: December 5, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Queens Game Club ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our current data practices and how we will communicate future changes as our services evolve.

2. What We Collect Today

We do not operate backend servers or require accounts. Game progress, preferences, and timers remain locally on your device. We now use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure site usage; it collects event data (pages viewed, clicks, approximate geolocation, device/browser details) and uses cookies or similar storage set by Google to recognize visits. We do not receive raw IP addresses in reports, but Google may process IPs to derive approximate location.

3. How Local Data Is Used

Any data stored in your browser is used solely to deliver gameplay features such as saving board states, remembering interface preferences, and resuming a puzzle where you left off. Because this information never leaves your device, we cannot access, retrieve, or share it.

4. Third-Party Services & Future Plans

4.1 Google Analytics (GA4)

We load the official Google Analytics tag (measurement ID: G-SP9PERYXN5) to understand how visitors use the site. Google collects usage data and sets cookies or similar storage. Data is processed by Google as a separate controller under its own policies.

4.2 Potential Advertising Integrations

We may introduce third-party advertising solutions, such as Google AdSense, in the future to support the project. If we do, those partners may place cookies or collect usage data as described in their own policies. We will update this Privacy Policy and provide clear in-product notices before enabling any ads. For reference, you can review Google's Ads Settings and opt-out tools in advance.

5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Controls

Google Analytics sets cookies or similar storage to recognize returning visitors and understand traffic patterns. Game data (board states, preferences) stays in your local storage and can be cleared anytime via browser settings. You can opt out of GA via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on or by blocking third-party cookies.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Usage data collected through Google Analytics is sent to Google. We do not sell personal data. If we later partner with advertising vendors, we will describe what data is shared, the legal basis, and how you can opt out before enabling those services.

7. Data Security

Your puzzle data remains on your device and inherits the security of your browser and operating system. We follow industry best practices for securing our website assets, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keeping your device and browser up to date is the best way to protect locally stored data.

8. Your Rights (GDPR and Similar Laws)

You can clear your browser storage to remove locally stored game data and use Google's opt-out tools to limit Analytics tracking. Where applicable, you may have rights to access, delete, restrict, or object to processing. For Google Analytics data, you can also review Google's privacy controls and submit requests directly to Google where required.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is suitable for general audiences and does not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If we learn that we unintentionally collected information from a child, we will delete it and update this policy.

10. International Data Transfers

Google Analytics may process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States. Google states it implements appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. If we add other vendors, we will disclose their transfer mechanisms.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored puzzle data stays on your device until you clear your browser data or uninstall your browser. Google Analytics retains event data per its service settings (currently up to 14 months) and may keep aggregated reports longer. If future services require remote storage, we will describe the retention period and deletion process.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We update this Privacy Policy whenever our practices change. Major updates—such as adding advertising partners—will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, within the product. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision.

13. Advertising Partners

We do not work with advertising partners today. If we add them, they may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver relevant ads in line with their own privacy policies. Review the following resources to understand how Google handles data and how you can manage your preferences:

14. Contact Us
